Chevron Marine Engine Oils Delo® 477 CFO SAE 20W-40 and 40
Chevron Marine Engine Oils Delo® 477 CFO deliver excellent wear control, outstanding dispersancy, exceptional oxidation stability and valve deck and piston ring groove cleanliness under sever service.  They are designed for medium-speed diesel engines commonly used inland and coastal marine vessels, oil service vessels, power generation engines, and other applications using EMD or locomotive-type diesel engines and requiring a zinc-free Generation 5 lubricant.  Delo® 477 CFO oils protect against corrosive wear under long drain conditions.  They also create longer life to rebuild and improve reliability, delivering a sustained reduction in operating costs.  Formulated with a non-chlorinated additive, Delo® 477 CFO oils are easy to dispose.  Delo® 477 CFO oils meet API service Classification CF, are qualified by the Electro Motive Division of General Motors for use in engines operating under EMD factory warranty and are fully approved by General Electric.

Chevron Marine Engine Oils Delo® 1000, 2000, and 3000 Marine are high-quality engine oils developed for use in a wide variety of high specific output, medium-speed trunk piston engines and the latest high BMEP engines.  Delo® 1000 is a 12 Base Number trunk piston engine Oil (TPEO) recommended for engines burning marine diesel oils with up to 1.5 percent sulfur content.  Delo® 2000 is a 20 Base Number TPEO and accommodates engines burning marine diesel oils, or burning residual fuels with up to 2.5 percent sulfur content.  Delo® 3000 is a 30 Base Number TPEO designed for engines burning residual fuels with up to 3.5 percent sulfur content.  These oils keep crankcases exceptionally clean and deliver outstanding ring and liner wear protection, as well as excellent protection against corrosive wear over long periods of operation.  Their outstanding thermal and oxidation stability removes the high combustion heat produced by engines using heavy fuels.  Delo® 1000, 2000 and 3000 Marine meet the requirements of API Service Classification CF and are approved by all major engine manufacturers for use in their medium-speed engines.
