Community Involvement

Community Involvement – At APP, we believe we have a special responsibility and role to play in helping our communities thrive. We balance business goals with our commitment to community and focus on organizations that support children, education, health, building better communities, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. We want every community where our employees live and work to be a better place because we are there.

APP Fueling at Oso Mudslide

APP supplied and serviced needed diesel and gasoline for the large and small heavy equipment at the Oso Mudslide recovery area. Every day a fuel driver traveled to the mudslide area and fueled individual heavy equipment with diesel fuel and drums of gasoline for chainsaws, etc. Brian Kooy, APP Sales Representative based in Anacortes, with close ties to the community accompanied the driver and additionally put in long hours with the many other volunteers with debris clean-up and recovery efforts. “Our hearts and prayers go out to the Oso and surrounding communities of Darrington and Arlington. The people affected are our customers and we want to do our part to help this community.”
